1. Parametric / Part Search
Can buyers filter by specs from your menus, your search box and a Google landing page? Engineers know the values they need, not the part number. Filters that work everywhere keep them on your site.
Six things a technical buyer needs to do on your site. We score each one Present, Partial or Missing, based on what we see on your live pages.
Derived from nine years of research across 1,000+ engineers in 8 languages, at a 95% confidence level.
Marketing, sales and IT often each see a different symptom of the same problem. A score based on your actual site gives all three one list to agree on.
Each rating comes with the observation behind it.

Can buyers see stock at the moment they choose a part? Showing live distributor stock on your page keeps the decision with you.
Can buyers send a whole parts list as one request? Keeping the list, quantities and context together gives your team a qualified project, not a generic enquiry.
Are sample requests tracked separately from pricing requests? A sample request is the earliest sign of a design-in, so it is worth tracking on its own.
Can a buyer without an account place an order? A simple checkout captures prototype and small orders, and the relationship that follows.
Does each part have its own page, with specs that Google and AI tools can read? That is how your parts show up when buyers research online.
Rating | What it means | What you do about it |
|---|---|---|
Present | A buyer can complete the task on your live site today, from the entry points they actually use. | Nothing. It is working. Protect it in any replatform. |
Partial | The capability exists but breaks in a common path: one entry point, one device, or one step in the flow. | Usually the cheapest wins on the whole list. The mechanism is already there. |
Missing | A buyer cannot complete the task at all. There is no partial credit for intent. | Scope it properly. These are the items that change the numbers. |
The scorecard deliberately excludes revenue projections and pricing. It reports what we observed on your public pages and what we would fix first.
